Opening the ayah…
قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ ٱلرُّءْيَآ ۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Qad' ṣaddaq'ta rru''yā . 'innā kadhālika naj'zī l-muḥ'sinīna
"Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right.
Translation: Abdullah Yusuf Ali

4-I guide
You have already carried out the dream; this is how We reward those who do excellent good.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Does Allah reward us for being ready to obey, even before we finish?"
Watch the Islam for Kids video Why Do We Celebrate Eid ul Azha?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah say Ibrahim had done?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How had Ibrahim fulfilled the dream if his son was safe?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 105. The key word saddaqta means you have fulfilled, made true. Ibrahim had shown complete readiness to obey, and that was what the test was about. Allah accepted his intention and effort. Allah rewards good intentions and sincere effort, not only finished results.
Fact: What is the Arabic word for intention?
Ages 5–8: Good intention. Before a chore, say "I'm doing this for Allah" and notice how it feels.
Ages 9–12: Intention diary. Write your intention before three tasks this week.
Finish with: "I found that the word is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make an intention for Allah before my tasks."
Action: Make an intention for Allah before your tasks.
