4-I guide
My Lord, give me a child who will be among the righteous.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do your parents make du'a for you?"
Watch TheProphetsPath video Prophet Ibrahim Asks for a Child, a soothing recitation.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Ibrahim ask Allah for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Ibrahim ask for a righteous child, not just a child?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Saffat is surah 37. Find ayah 100. The key word salihin means the righteous. Ibrahim waited many years for children. When he made du'a, he asked not just for a child but for a good child. Parents still make this du'a for their children today. You are an answer to your parents' du'a.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah Al-Furqan has a du'a asking for spouses and children who bring joy to our eyes?
Ages 5–8: Du'a for parents. Learn a short du'a for your parents and say it tonight.
Ages 9–12: Righteous me. Write three qualities of a righteous child and how you can grow in them.
Finish with: "I found that the ayah is Al-Furqan ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make du'a for my parents every night."
Action: Make du'a for your parents every night.
