لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًۭا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَٰفِلُونَ
Litundhira qaw'man mmā 'undhira 'ābā'uhum' fahum' ghāfilūna
In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah).

The Prophet was sent to remind a people whose recent forefathers had no warner.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever been about to make a mistake and someone gently warned you?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why were these people unaware?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who taught the Arabs before the Prophet came?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 6. The key word ghafilun means unaware, not paying attention. For a long time no prophet had come to the Arabs of Makkah, so many forgot the way of Ibrahim and Ismail and began worshipping idols. Allah sent the Prophet Muhammad to wake them up kindly.
Fact: Which two prophets built the Kaaba long before the Prophet Muhammad?
Ages 5–8: Wake-up call. One person pretends to sleep while another gently wakes them with a kind reminder.
Ages 9–12: Reminder kit. Design three gentle ways to remind a friend who forgot something important.
Finish with: "I found that the Kaaba was built by ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will set one gentle reminder to remember Allah each day."
Action: Set one gentle reminder to remember Allah each day.
