Opening the ayah…
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّٰتٍۢ مِّن نَّخِيلٍۢ وَأَعْنَٰبٍۢ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ
Wa jaʻalnā fīhā jannātin mmin nnakhīlin wa'aʻ'nābin wafajjar'nā fīhā mina l-ʻuyūni
And We produce therein orchard with date-palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth therein:

4-I guide
Allah places gardens of palms and vines in the earth and makes springs gush out.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Where does the water in a spring come from?"
Watch the Farm Channel video How to Grow and Care for Date Palm Trees.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which trees are named?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do palm trees grow in hot deserts?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 34. The key word 'uyun means springs. Underground, rainwater collects in layers of rock and pushes up through cracks as springs. Date palms grow where such water is near, even in deserts. Gardens and springs together are gifts from Allah that we could never make ourselves.
Fact: How many years does a date palm usually take to start giving fruit?
Ages 5–8: Spring in a cup. Push a straw into wet sand in a cup and watch water rise into it.
Ages 9–12: Oasis plan. Draw an oasis showing the rock layers, the spring and the palms around it.
Finish with: "I found that a palm starts fruiting after about ___ years."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will not waste water and will remember where it comes from."
Action: Not waste water and will remember where it comes from.
