وَقَرْنَ فِى بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ ٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَأَقِمْنَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتِينَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِعْنَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ ٱلرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ ٱلْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًۭا
How to read it
Wa qar'na fī buyūtikunna walā tabarraj'na tabarruja l-jāhiliyyati l-'ūlā . wa'aqim'na ṣṣalāta wa'ātīna zzakāta wa'aṭiʻ'na -llaha warassūlahu . 'innamā yurīdu -llahu liyudh'hiba ʻankumu rrij'sa 'ah'la l-bay'ti wayuṭahhirakum' taṭ'hīran
And stay quietly in your houses, and make not a dazzling display, like that of the former Times of Ignorance; and establish regular Prayer, and give regular Charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah only wishes to remove all abomination from you, ye members of the Family, and to make you pure and spotless.
