4-I guide
These ayat come from a Book full of wisdom.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What makes a book wise rather than just clever?"
Listen to the M Asif recitation of Surah Luqman with tajweed by Mishary Al-Afasy.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How is the Book described?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What wisdom will I find in this surah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Luqman is surah 31. Find ayah 2. The key word al-hakim means wise, full of wisdom. Wisdom is knowing what is right and doing it in the right way at the right time. This surah is a treasure chest of wisdom, especially in Luqman's advice to his son.
Fact: Which of Allah's names, from the same root as hakim, means the All-Wise?
Ages 5–8: Wise or silly. Listen to short pieces of advice and decide if each is wise or silly.
Ages 9–12: Wisdom words. Collect three wise sayings from your grandparents or elders.
Finish with: "I found that the name is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask an elder for one piece of wise advice."
Action: Ask an elder for one piece of wise advice.
