Listen to the Imams of Haramain recitation of Surah Ar-Rum, ayat 11 to 27, by Sheikh Maher Al-Muaiqly.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah do with creation?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Allah bring things back?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rum is surah 30. Find ayah 11. The key words yabda'u and yu'iduh mean He begins and He repeats. A sign to ponder: nature repeats creation all around us. Leaves fall and grow back, the moon disappears and returns, rain evaporates and falls again. The One who does this every day will bring us back too.

Ages 5–8: Repeat cycle. Draw a circle showing rain, clouds and rain again.

Ages 9–12: Cycles list. List five cycles in nature that begin and repeat.

Finish with: "I found that it stays about ___ days."
