وَدَّت طَّآئِفَةٌۭ مِّنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَوْ يُضِلُّونَكُمْ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Wa ddat ṭṭā'ifatun mmin' 'ah'li l-kitābi law' yuḍillūnakum' wamā yuḍillūna 'illā 'anfussahum' wamā yash'ʻurūna
It is the wish of a section of the People of the Book to lead you astray. But they shall lead astray (Not you), but themselves, and they do not perceive!

4-I guide
Some of the People of the Book wished to lead the believers astray, but they only led themselves astray without realising it.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who gets hurt when someone tries to mislead others?"
A short clip on Askar Kauny Yogyakarta recites ayat 61–70 of Ali 'Imran. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Whom do they really mislead?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does misleading others harm yourself?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ali 'Imran is surah 3. Find ayah 69. This ayah speaks about some people in Madinah, not everyone. Trying to mislead others ends up harming the one who does it.
Fact: The Qur'an speaks of 'a group' or 'some', not everyone, when describing wrongdoing.
Ages 5–8: Honest guide. Give a friend honest directions in a game.
Ages 9–12: Harm returns. Write how misleading others harms yourself.
Finish with: "They only mislead ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will give honest advice when someone asks."
Action: Give honest advice when someone asks.
