Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Who is truly close to a good person?"

Begin a reciter's Ali 'Imran on Islamic Channel and listen for a few minutes.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is closest to Ibrahim?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Is closeness about family or about following?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ali 'Imran is surah 3. Find ayah 68. Being close to Ibrahim is about following his faith, not just being related. Anyone who worships Allah alone like him is close to him.

Fact: Muslims mention Ibrahim in every prayer, in the salawat after the tashahhud.

Ages 5–8: Prayer link. Listen for Ibrahim's name in the salawat.

Ages 9–12: Following. Write why following matters more than family name.

Finish with: "Allah is the ___ of the believers."

Talk together:

• Who is closest to Ibrahim?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Is it family or following?
• How can you follow Ibrahim?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will say the salawat with Ibrahim's name carefully."

• Faith brings closeness.
• Allah protects.
