Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is surely coming?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I look forward to meeting Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-'Ankabut is surah 29. Find ayah 5. The key word yarju means hopes. Believers hope to meet Allah, like a traveller hoping to reach home. The meeting is certain. Allah is As-Sami', the All-Hearing, and Al-'Alim, the All-Knowing: He hears every dua and knows every effort.

Fact: Which surah's last ayah begins with whoever hopes to meet his Lord?

Ages 5–8: Countdown. Make a paper chain for a fun day coming soon and talk about looking forward to meeting Allah.

Ages 9–12: Hope list. Write what you hope Allah will be pleased with when you meet Him.

Finish with: "I found that it is surah ___."

Talk together:

• What does it mean to hope to meet Allah?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How does hope make us try harder?
• What would you like to show Allah?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one deed I hope Allah will love."

• Do a deed Allah loves.
• Make a countdown chain.
• Share your hope list.
