فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ وَأَصْحَٰبَ ٱلسَّفِينَةِ وَجَعَلْنَٰهَآ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Fa'anjay'nāhu wa'aṣ'ḥāba ssafīnati wajaʻalnāhā 'āyatan llil'ʻālamīna
But We saved him and the companions of the Ark, and We made the (Ark) a Sign for all peoples!

Allah saved Nuh and those with him on the ship, and made it a sign for all people.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What would you take onto a big boat if a flood was coming?"
Begin Idrees Abkar's Divine Speech recording and stop after a few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who was saved?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is the ark a sign?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-'Ankabut is surah 29. Find ayah 15. The key word as-safinah means the ship. Allah saved Nuh and the believers on the ark. The ship became an ayah, a sign, for everyone after them: Allah saves those who trust Him and follow His guidance.
Fact: On which mountain, named in Surah Hud, did the ark come to rest?
Ages 5–8: Build an ark. Build a boat from a box and put toy animals inside two by two.
Ages 9–12: Sign of safety. Write why the story of the ark is a sign for us today.
Finish with: "I found that the ark rested on ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make dua for safety for my family each night."
