ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبْلِهِۦ هُم بِهِۦ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Alladhīna 'ātay'nāhumu l-kitāba min qab'lihī hum bihī yu''minūna
Those to whom We sent the Book before this,- they do believe in this (revelation):

Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How might someone recognise the truth when they hear it?"
Begin part one of Maher Al-Muaiqly's Al-Qasas from the I Love Allah channel.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who believed in the Quran?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did they recognise the Quran?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qasas is surah 28. Find ayah 52. The key words atainahum al-kitab mean We gave them the Book. Some Jews and Christians, who knew earlier revelation, recognised the Quran as true and believed. The same Lord sent all the messages.
Fact: Which surah's ayah 199 praises people of earlier scripture who believe and are humble before Allah?
Ages 5–8: Same source. Draw rivers flowing from one spring to show messages from one Lord.
Ages 9–12: One Lord. Write what all the prophets taught in common.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn what all prophets taught in common."
