وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ أَئِمَّةًۭ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ ۖ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ لَا يُنصَرُونَ
Wa jaʻalnāhum' 'a'immatan yad'ʻūna 'ilā nnāri . wayaw'ma l-qiyāmati lā yunṣarūna
And we made them (but) leaders inviting to the Fire; and on the Day of Judgment no help shall they find.

Pharaoh and his chiefs became leaders who called people towards the Fire, and on Judgement Day they will find no helpers.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What kind of leader do you want to follow?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where were they leading people?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I choose good people to follow?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qasas is surah 28. Find ayah 41. The key word a'immah means leaders. Leaders can guide people to good or to harm. Pharaoh led his people the wrong way, and on the Last Day he will have no one to help him. We should follow leaders who guide to Allah.

Ages 5–8: Follow the leader. Play follow the leader, taking turns to lead kindly.
Ages 9–12: Good leaders. Write five signs of a leader worth following.
