فَأَخَذْنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ ۖ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
Fa'akhadh'nāhu wajunūdahu fanabadh'nāhum' fī l-yammi . fa-nẓur' kay'fa kāna ʻāqibatu ẓẓālimīna
So We seized him and his hosts, and We flung them into the sea: Now behold what was the end of those who did wrong!

Allah took Pharaoh and his armies and cast them into the sea, so see how the wrongdoers ended.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What lesson can we learn from the end of a bully?"
The Hijazi documentary tells what happened after Pharaoh drowned. Play the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where did Pharaoh's army end up?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Pharaoh's power not save him?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qasas is surah 28. Find ayah 40. The key word fanbadhnahum means We cast them. Pharaoh chased the believers, but the sea closed over him and his army. All his power could not save him. Allah saved Musa and his people, and that is the lesson to hold on to.
Fact: Which body of water is linked in history with the crossing of Musa and his people?
Ages 5–8: Safe crossing. Draw Musa's people walking safely to the other side.
Ages 9–12: Look at the end. Write why the Quran tells us to look at endings.
Finish with: "I found that it is the ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will think about the end before I choose."
Action: Think about the end before you choose.
