وَوَقَعَ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَيْهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُوا۟ فَهُمْ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
Wa waqaʻa l-qaw'lu ʻalay'him bimā ẓalamū fahum' lā yanṭiqūna
And the Word will be fulfilled against them, because of their wrong-doing, and they will be unable to speak (in plea).

The decree will come true against them because of their wrong, and they will be unable to speak.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why might someone have no excuse left?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why will they not speak?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I have a good answer ready?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naml is surah 27. Find ayah 85. The key words la yantiqun mean they will not speak. Excuses run out when the truth is plain. One calm line: it is better to prepare now than be left speechless later.
Fact: Which surah's ayah 65 says mouths will be sealed and hands and feet will speak?
Ages 5–8: Ready answers. Practise telling the truth simply and clearly.
Ages 9–12: No excuses. Write why honesty now is better than excuses later.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will own up quickly instead of making excuses."
