حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُو قَالَ أَكَذَّبْتُم بِـَٔايَٰتِى وَلَمْ تُحِيطُوا۟ بِهَا عِلْمًا أَمَّاذَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Ḥattā 'idhā jā'ū qāla 'akadhdhab'tum bi'āyātī walam' tuḥīṭū bihā ʻil'man 'ammādhā kuntum' taʻ'malūna
Until, when they come (before the Judgment-seat), (Allah) will say: "Did ye reject My Signs, though ye comprehended them not in knowledge, or what was it ye did?"

When they arrive Allah will ask whether they rejected His signs without even understanding them, or what else they had been doing.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What would you answer if asked how you spent your time?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will Allah ask them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How am I spending my time?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naml is surah 27. Find ayah 84. The key words madha kuntum ta'malun mean what were you doing? They rejected signs they never studied. Then they will be asked what they did with their lives. Every day is a chance to prepare a good answer.
Fact: Which ayah of Al-Isra says hearing, sight and the heart will all be questioned?
Ages 5–8: Time pie. Draw a circle showing how you spend your day.
Ages 9–12: Good answer. Write what you would like to say you did with your time.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of Al-Isra."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will spend ten minutes a day learning about Allah's signs."
Action: Spend ten minutes a day learning about Allah's signs.
