4-I guide
Sulayman said they would find out whether the hoopoe was telling the truth or not.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you check if a story is true?"
Hasan & Maria tell The Hoopoe and Prophet Sulayman.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Sulayman want to check?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why didn't Sulayman just believe the bird?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naml is surah 27. Find ayah 27. The key word sananzuru means we will look, we will check. Sulayman neither rejected nor blindly accepted the news. He checked it. Checking before acting is wise and fair to everyone.
Fact: What does it mean to 'fact-check' a story?
Ages 5–8: Check it. Hear a 'news' story and find a way to check if it is true.
Ages 9–12: Checking steps. Write three steps to check news before sharing it.
Finish with: "I found that fact-checking means ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will check before I pass on any news."
Action: Check before you pass on any news.
