أَلَّا يَسْجُدُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى يُخْرِجُ ٱلْخَبْءَ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفُونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ
'Allā yas'judū lillahi -lladhī yukh'riju l-khab''a fī ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi wayaʻ'lamu mā tukh'fūna wamā tuʻ'linūna
"(Kept them away from the Path), that they should not worship Allah, Who brings to light what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and knows what ye hide and what ye reveal.

The hoopoe wondered why they would not bow to Allah, who brings out what lies hidden in the skies and the earth and knows what people hide and reveal.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What hidden things does Allah bring out every day?"
Al-Minshawi again, this time from Abdelsattar Naji; enjoy a quiet stretch.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah bring out?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is hidden that Allah brings to light?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naml is surah 27. Find ayah 25. The key word al-khab' means the hidden. Seeds hidden in soil sprout, rain hidden in clouds falls, treasures hidden in the ground are found. A sign to ponder: Allah brings out hidden things all the time, and He knows our hidden thoughts too.
Fact: Which surah says, in ayah 59, that Allah holds the keys of the unseen?
Ages 5–8: Hidden seeds. Plant a seed and wait to see it come out of the soil.
Ages 9–12: Hidden and shown. List five hidden things in nature that Allah brings out.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will plant a seed and watch Allah bring it out."
