فَجُمِعَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ لِمِيقَٰتِ يَوْمٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ

The magicians were assembled for the meeting on a set, well-known day.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does a big day feel like before it begins?"
DeeniSticx shows the day Musa defeated Pharaoh's magicians.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "When were the magicians gathered?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What were the magicians thinking?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 38. The key word li-miqat means for an appointed time. Everything was arranged for a public showdown. The date was fixed and everyone knew it. Allah would make truth clear on that very day.
Fact: At what time of day was the contest held, according to Ta-Ha ayah 59?
Ages 5–8: Countdown. Make a countdown calendar to a special day.
Ages 9–12: Set times. Write why fixed times matter, like prayer times.
Finish with: "I found it was held at ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep to my set prayer times."
Action: Keep to your set prayer times.
