4-I guide
Pharaoh told the leaders around him that Musa was just a very clever magician.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do people give truth a bad name?"
Only the start is needed. Qari Abdul Basit reads Surah Ash-Shu'ara here, uploaded by fawazh695.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Pharaoh call Musa?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why couldn't Pharaoh admit the truth?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 34. The key words sahirun 'alim mean a knowledgeable magician. Pharaoh had to explain the signs away. Calling truth 'magic' was easier than accepting it. Labels can hide the truth.
Fact: Which ayah of Al-A'raf records the chiefs also calling Musa a skilled magician?
Ages 5–8: Label check. Talk about a time someone was called a name unfairly.
Ages 9–12: Explaining away. Write how people avoid truths they do not like.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of Al-A'raf."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will not label anyone unfairly."
Action: Not label anyone unfairly.
