Pharaoh claimed Musa wanted to drive them from their land with magic and asked what they advised.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do leaders sometimes scare people?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Pharaoh claim Musa wanted?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Pharaoh try to scare his people?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 35. The key words yukhrijakum min ardikum mean drive you out of your land. Musa never said that. Pharaoh made up a fear to turn people against him. Scary rumours can make people forget the facts.
Fact: What does the word 'propaganda' mean?

Talk together:
