مَآ أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌۭ مِّثْلُنَا فَأْتِ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
Mā 'anta 'illā basharun mmith'lunā fa''ti bi'āyatin 'in kunta mina ṣṣādiqīna
"Thou art no more than a mortal like us: then bring us a Sign, if thou tellest the truth!"

They said Salih was only a man like them and challenged him to bring a sign if he was telling the truth.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why would Allah send a human messenger?"
Abdullah Al-Matrood reads Surah Ash-Shu'ara here, uploaded by Mahmouddal82.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they demand?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people want proof?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 154. The key word basharun means a human. Messengers were human so people could follow their example. Thamud asked for a sign, and Allah would send one. But a sign is a test too.
Fact: Which ayah of Al-Kahf has the Prophet say he is only a human like them?
Ages 5–8: Good example. Draw someone you follow as a good example.
Ages 9–12: Human messengers. Write why human messengers make sense.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of Al-Kahf."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be a good example for someone younger."
Action: Be a good example for someone younger.
