وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّوا۟ عَلَيْهَا صُمًّۭا وَعُمْيَانًۭا
Wa -lladhīna 'idhā dhukkirū bi'āyāti rabbihim' lam' yakhirrū ʻalay'hā ṣumman waʻum'yānan
Those who, when they are admonished with the Signs of their Lord, droop not down at them as if they were deaf or blind;

When they are reminded of their Lord's signs, they do not act as if they are deaf and blind but listen and look with care.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can someone hear words but not really take them in?"
Ali Jahuur shares ayat 63 to 77 with an English translation on screen.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How do they react to reminders?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I listen to the Quran with my heart?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Furqan is surah 25. Find ayah 73. The key words summan wa 'umyana mean deaf and blind. Some people hear reminders without thinking. The servants of the Most Merciful listen with understanding and act on what they hear.
Fact: Which ayah of Qaf says there is a reminder in it for whoever has a heart or listens attentively?
Ages 5–8: Listen well. Listen to one ayah and say one thing it teaches.
Ages 9–12: Active listening. Write how to listen to a reminder so it changes you.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of Qaf."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will act on one reminder I hear."
Action: Act on one reminder you hear.
