وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ ٱلزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِٱللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا۟ كِرَامًۭا
Wa -lladhīna lā yash'hadūna zzūra wa'idhā marrū bi-llagh'wi marrū kirāman
Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance);

They stay away from falsehood, and when they come across pointless talk or play, they walk past with dignity.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you do when people around you are saying mean or silly things?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do they do when they pass idle talk?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I walk away politely?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Furqan is surah 25. Find ayah 72. The key words la yashhaduna az-zur mean they do not witness or give falsehood, and laghw means idle, empty talk. They neither join in nor make a scene; they simply pass by with dignity.
Fact: Which ayah of Al-Mu'minun also praises believers who turn away from idle talk?
Ages 5–8: Walk on by. Practise walking away politely from a silly argument.
Ages 9–12: Dignity. Write how to leave pointless talk without being rude.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of Al-Mu'minun."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will leave a conversation that turns to gossip."
Action: Leave a conversation that turns to gossip.
