ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَٰهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًۭا يَسِيرًۭا
How to read it
Thumma qabaḍ'nāhu 'ilay'nā qab'ḍan yassīran
Then We draw it in towards Ourselves,- a contraction by easy stages.

4-I guide
Then Allah pulls the shadow back towards Himself slowly and easily.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What changes so slowly that you hardly notice it?"
Path to Jannah plays ayat 45 to 52, from the shadow to the rain, in under two minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How is the shadow drawn in?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What else changes slowly in my life?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Furqan is surah 25. Find ayah 46. The key word yasira means easily and gently. The shadow shrinks bit by bit as the sun rises. Allah's work is gentle and precise.
Fact: How fast does the Earth spin at the equator?
Ages 5–8: Slow change. Watch an ice cube melt and notice how slowly it changes.
Ages 9–12: Gentle change. Write how slow changes can lead to big results, like good habits.
Finish with: "I found it spins about ___ kilometres an hour."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will add one small step to a good habit."
Action: Add one small step to a good habit.
