4-I guide
He cries out in sorrow, wishing he had never taken a certain person as a close friend.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do friends change who we become?"
On Imran Kayani, Abdul Rahman As-Sudais recites Al-Furqan; listen closely.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does he regret about his friend?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What makes a friend good for me?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Furqan is surah 25. Find ayah 28. The key word khalil means close friend. The Quran does not name the friend, so the lesson fits everyone. A bad friend can pull us away from Allah.
Fact: Which ayah of Az-Zukhruf says close friends will be enemies on that Day except the mindful?
Ages 5–8: Friend check. Draw a friend who helps you do good.
Ages 9–12: Good company. Write three signs of a friend who brings you closer to Allah.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of Az-Zukhruf."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will encourage a friend to do one good deed."
Action: Encourage a friend to do one good deed.
