As death reaches one of the deniers, he pleads with his Lord to send him back.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "If you could rewind time, what would you change?"
This short clip from أجمل التلاوات Best Recitations plays the closing ayat of Al-Mu'minun. Listen together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does the person ask?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why can't time be rewound?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mu'minun is surah 23. Find ayah 99. One calm line: at death, a person who wasted life wishes to go back. We still have our chance now, so we use it.
Fact: Find another ayah where people wish to be sent back (As-Sajdah 32:12).
Ages 5–8: No rewind. Pour water out and try to get it back in exactly. Time is like that.
Ages 9–12: Now, not then. Write what you'd like to do while you can.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do something I've been putting off: ___."
Action: Do it now.
