Ask: "Is a promise made too late worth anything?"

Play the short clip from Quran Lovers: Islam Sobhi reciting ayat 93–118.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is behind them until the Day?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is the barzakh?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mu'minun is surah 23. Find ayah 100. Barzakh means a barrier: the time between death and the Day of Resurrection. What it is like, only Allah knows; ask your teacher for more.

Fact: Find another place where the word barzakh is used for a barrier between two seas (Ar-Rahman 55:20).

Ages 5–8: Good deed today. Do one good deed instead of just saying you will.

Ages 9–12: Words and deeds. Write why deeds matter more than promises.

Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:
