4-I guide
Allah asks whether they didn't recognise their own messenger, so they rejected him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Would you trust someone you've known your whole life?"
Try a little of Abdul Basit Abdus-Samad's Al-Mu'minun from Islamic Research And Propagation Centre, and follow along.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah ask about the messenger?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did they reject someone they knew was honest?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mu'minun is surah 23. Find ayah 69. His people had known the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, for years, and the Quran points to his good character. Rejecting him was not about not knowing him.
Fact: Find the ayah in Surah Yunus where the Prophet reminds them he lived a lifetime among them (10:16).
Ages 5–8: Know me. Share three things your family knows about you.
Ages 9–12: Character. Write qualities that make someone trustworthy.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will show honesty in ___."
Action: Be honest.
