إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنْ عِبَادِى يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَٱغْفِرْ لَنَا وَٱرْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
'Innahu kāna farīqun mmin' ʻibādī yaqūlūna rabbanā 'āmannā fa-gh'fir' lanā wa-r'ḥam'nā wa'anta khay'ru rrāḥimīna
"A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!"

A group of Allah's servants used to pray: our Lord, we believe, so forgive us and have mercy, for You show mercy above all.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you say when you ask for forgiveness?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did these believers ask for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is this du'a so beautiful?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mu'minun is surah 23. Find ayah 109. This is a du'a we can learn: we believe, forgive us, have mercy. It ends with Khayr ar-Rahimin: the One whose mercy is greater than anyone's.
Fact: Which ayah at the very end of the surah has a similar du'a? (Ayah 118.).
Ages 5–8: Du'a card. Make a card with this du'a's meaning.
Ages 9–12: Learn it. Memorise the meaning in English.
Finish with: "I found it in ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say this du'a after ___ (which prayer)."
Action: Say the du'a.
