فَٱتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا حَتَّىٰٓ أَنسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِى وَكُنتُم مِّنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُونَ
Fa-ttakhadh'tumūhum' sikh'riyyan ḥattā 'ansaw'kum' dhik'rī wakuntum mmin'hum' taḍ'ḥakūna
"But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them!

The deniers made fun of those believers so much that it made them forget Allah, laughing at them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does it feel to be laughed at?"
HIkMaTuL QUrAn has a short clip from Al-Mu'minun. Listen together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did mocking make them forget?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is mocking others so harmful?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mu'minun is surah 23. Find ayah 110. They laughed at good people. Mocking hurts others and makes our own hearts forget Allah.
Fact: Find the ayah that says don't mock others, they may be better (Al-Hujurat 49:11).
Ages 5–8: Kind words. Swap a teasing sentence for a kind one.
Ages 9–12: Mocking hurts. Write how mocking hurts both people.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stand up for someone being teased."
Action: Stand up for someone being teased.
