وَلَقَدْ عَهِدْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ ءَادَمَ مِن قَبْلُ فَنَسِىَ وَلَمْ نَجِدْ لَهُۥ عَزْمًۭا
Wa laqad' ʻahid'nā 'ilā 'ādama min qab'lu fanassiya walam' najid' lahu ʻaz'man
We had already, beforehand, taken the covenant of Adam, but he forgot: and We found on his part no firm resolve.

Allah had made a promise with Adam long before, but Adam forgot and was not firm enough.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you do when you forget a promise?"
Play the short Ta-Ha clip of ayat 114–125 from USRAH ILMU STUDIO.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Adam do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah tell us Adam forgot?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ta-Ha is surah 20. Find ayah 115. Adam, the first human, forgot what he was told. Forgetting is part of being human. What matters is turning back to Allah, as Adam did.
Fact: Find where Adam is taught words of repentance (Al-Baqarah 2:37).
Ages 5–8: Remember strings. Tie a ribbon on your wrist as a reminder.
Ages 9–12: Forgetting. Write how to stay firm on a promise.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will use a reminder to keep a promise."
Action: Use a reminder to keep a promise.
