Ask: "What do you want to learn more about?"

A short clip on My #QuranTime recites ayat 114–120 of Ta-Ha. Play the whole clip.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What du'a is taught?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why ask Allah for more knowledge?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ta-Ha is surah 20. Find ayah 114. Al-Malik is the King; Al-Haqq is the Truth. The Prophet was told to be patient as the Quran came, and to ask for more knowledge. Knowledge is a gift we keep asking for.

Fact: How many new words can a child learn in a year? Find an estimate.

Ages 5–8: Knowledge du'a. Say 'My Lord, increase me in knowledge' before learning.

Ages 9–12: Learning. Write what you want to learn this year.

Finish with: "I found about ___ words."

Talk together:

• What do you want to learn?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why not rush?
• Who helps you learn?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will make the knowledge du'a before homework."

• Learn something new.
• Share your writing.
