وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱرْكَعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلرَّٰكِعِينَ
Wa 'aqīmū ṣṣalāta wa'ātū zzakāta wa-r'kaʻū maʻa rrākiʻīna
And be steadfast in prayer; practise regular charity; and bow down your heads with those who bow down (in worship).

Keep up the prayer, give zakah, and bow down with those who bow in worship.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why pray together?"
Listen together as Mishary Alafasy recites ayat 41–45 of Al-Baqarah, a short clip shared by Al Quran for everything.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What three things are commanded?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why mention prayer and zakah together?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 43. Prayer connects us to Allah; zakah connects us to people. Bowing together in jama'ah builds unity.
Fact: Prayer and zakah are mentioned together many times in the Qur'an.
Ages 5–8: Jama'ah. Pray one prayer with your family.
Ages 9–12: Two links. Write how prayer and zakah connect us.
Finish with: "Prayer connects us to Allah; zakah to ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will pray with family at least once a day."
Action: Pray with family at least once a day.
