وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا۟ ٱلْحَقَّ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا۟ ٱلْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
Wa lā tal'bissū l-ḥaqqa bil-bāṭili watak'tumū l-ḥaqqa wa'antum' taʻ'lamūna
And cover not Truth with falsehood, nor conceal the Truth when ye know (what it is).

Do not cover the truth with falsehood or hide the truth while you know it.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is hiding the truth a kind of lying?"
Play the short clip from QURAN HIFZ of Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 41–45 of Al-Baqarah.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What should not be mixed?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is hiding the truth wrong?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 42. Mixing lies with truth confuses people. Hiding truth when you know it also misleads. Honesty means speaking clearly.
Fact: Allah commands believers to stand firm for truth even against themselves (4:135).
Ages 5–8: Clear water. Compare clear and muddy water.
Ages 9–12: Clear truth. Write why we don't hide the truth.
Finish with: "Don't hide the ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will tell the whole truth when asked."
Action: Tell the whole truth when asked.
