وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِۦمُ رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْ هَٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنًۭا وَٱرْزُقْ أَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ مِنْهُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ ۖ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ قَلِيلًۭا ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُۥٓ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
How to read it
Wa 'idh' qāla 'ib'rāhīmu rabbi (i)j'ʻal' hādhā baladan 'āminan wa-r'zuq' 'ah'lahu mina ththamarāti man' 'āmana min'hum bi-llahi wal-yaw'mi l-'ākhiri . qāla waman kafara fa'umattiʻuhu qalīlan thumma 'aḍ'ṭarruhu 'ilā ʻadhābi nnāri . wabi''sa l-maṣīru
And remember Abraham said: "My Lord, make this a City of Peace, and feed its people with fruits,-such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He said: "(Yea), and such as reject Faith,-for a while will I grant them their pleasure, but will soon drive them to the torment of Fire,- an evil destination (indeed)!"
