وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا ٱلْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًۭا وَٱتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ مُصَلًّۭى ۖ وَعَهِدْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِىَ لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَٱلْعَٰكِفِينَ وَٱلرُّكَّعِ ٱلسُّجُودِ
How to read it
Wa 'idh' jaʻalnā l-bay'ta mathābatan lli nnāssi wa'am'nan wa-ttakhidhū min mmaqāmi 'ib'rāhīma muṣallan . waʻahid'nā 'ilā 'ib'rāhīma wa'is'māʻīla 'an ṭahhirā bay'tiya li ṭṭā'ifīna wal-ʻākifīna wa rrukkaʻi ssujūdi
Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the station of Abraham as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Abraham and Isma'il, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer).
