Ask: "What did Ibrahim and Isma'il ask while building?"

Play the short Al-Baqarah clip of ayat 126–130 from Islamic Education.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they ask Allah?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why ask Allah to accept their work?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 127. Even while doing something great, they humbly asked Allah to accept it. Good deeds need sincerity and acceptance.

Fact: Rabbana taqabbal minna means 'Our Lord, accept from us'.

Ages 5–8: Accept from us. Say rabbana taqabbal minna after a good deed.

Ages 9–12: Humble builders. Write why they asked for acceptance.

Finish with: "Rabbana taqabbal ___."

Talk together:

• What were they building?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What did they ask?
• When will you say this du'a?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will say rabbana taqabbal minna after good deeds."
