فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَا قَالَ لِفَتَىٰهُ ءَاتِنَا غَدَآءَنَا لَقَدْ لَقِينَا مِن سَفَرِنَا هَٰذَا نَصَبًۭا
Falammā jāwazā qāla lifatāhu 'ātinā ghadā'anā laqad' laqīnā min safarinā hādhā naṣaban
When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey."

When they had gone further, Musa asked his helper to bring their meal, saying the journey had made them tired.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Do prophets get tired and hungry too?"
Take a rest and listen to a few minutes of Al-Husary reciting Al-Kahf.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Musa ask for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the Quran mention Musa being tired?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 62. Musa was a great prophet, but he was human: he got tired and hungry. Learning journeys are hard work, and that's okay.
Fact: Why does our body get tired after walking a long way? Find out.
Ages 5–8: Snack break. Share a healthy snack and say bismillah.
Ages 9–12: Hard work. Write about a time learning made you tired but happy.
Finish with: "I found we get tired because ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will take short breaks while studying."
Action: Take short breaks while studying.
