فَلَمَّا بَلَغَا مَجْمَعَ بَيْنِهِمَا نَسِيَا حُوتَهُمَا فَٱتَّخَذَ سَبِيلَهُۥ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ سَرَبًۭا
Falammā balaghā maj'maʻa bay'nihimā nassiyā ḥūtahumā fa-ttakhadha sabīlahu fī l-baḥ'ri saraban
But when they reached the Junction, they forgot (about) their Fish, which took its course through the sea (straight) as in a tunnel.

When they reached the meeting of the two seas, they forgot their fish, and it slipped away into the sea as if through a tunnel.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever forgotten something important on a trip?"
Play the short Al-Kahf clip of ayat 60–82 from knowledge of quran.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they forget?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How was the fish a sign?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Kahf is surah 18. Find ayah 61. The fish was a sign showing where to meet the knowledgeable teacher. It slipped into the sea in an amazing way. Small details can be signs.
Fact: How do fish breathe underwater? Find out.
Ages 5–8: Fish craft. Make a paper fish swimming through a blue tunnel.
Ages 9–12: Signs. Write how small things can guide us.
Finish with: "I found fish breathe using ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will notice a small sign of Allah each day."
Action: Notice a small sign of Allah each day.
