Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Which hand do we use for good things?"

Listen together as Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi recites ayat 71–85 of Al-Isra, a short clip shared by Quran Channel.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which hand gets the record for the happy people?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I be among those who read happily?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Isra is surah 17. Find ayah 71. On that Day, people are called with whoever they followed. Those given their book in their right hand are happy. Allah wrongs no one.

Fact: Find the ayah 'here, read my book!' (Al-Haqqah 69:19).

Ages 5–8: Right hand. Practise eating and giving with your right hand.

Ages 9–12: Good leaders. Write why we should follow good leaders.

Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."

Talk together:

• Who do you follow?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How do you get the right-hand book?
• What will you fill it with?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will follow good examples."

• Use your right hand.
• Share your writing.
• Next time: the next ayah (17:72) speaks of the blind-hearted. Explore it together!
