وَمَن كَانَ فِى هَٰذِهِۦٓ أَعْمَىٰ فَهُوَ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ أَعْمَىٰ وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًۭا
Wa man kāna fī hādhihī 'aʻ'mā fahuwa fī l-'ākhirati 'aʻ'mā wa'aḍallu sabīlan
But those who were blind in this world, will be blind in the hereafter, and most astray from the Path.

Whoever refused to see the truth here will be unable to see it in the next life too, and will be even more lost.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can someone have eyes but not see the truth?"
Abdul Basit recites ayat 70–87 in this clip. Listen for the ayah about honouring people.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where will they be blind?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I open the eyes of my heart?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Isra is surah 17. Find ayah 72. This is about hearts that refuse to see Allah's signs, not about people who can't see with their eyes. We keep our hearts open by reflecting.
Fact: Find the ayah that says it's hearts that become blind (Al-Hajj 22:46).
Ages 5–8: Heart eyes. Draw a heart with open eyes.
Ages 9–12: Seeing truth. Write how to keep your heart's eyes open.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will reflect on one sign of Allah each day."
