وَإِمَّا تُعْرِضَنَّ عَنْهُمُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ رَحْمَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكَ تَرْجُوهَا فَقُل لَّهُمْ قَوْلًۭا مَّيْسُورًۭا
Wa 'immā tuʻ'riḍanna ʻan'humu (i)b'tighā'a raḥ'matin mmin rrabbika tar'jūhā faqul llahum' qaw'lan mmay'sūran
And even if thou hast to turn away from them in pursuit of the Mercy from thy Lord which thou dost expect, yet speak to them a word of easy kindness.

If you can't help someone right now while you hope for Allah's provision, at least speak to them kindly.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What can you give when you have nothing to give?"
Settle down and play the start of a reciter's Al-Isra (Noor Ul Qur'an).
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What should you give if you can't give money?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can a kind word be a gift?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Isra is surah 17. Find ayah 28. Sometimes we can't help with money. But a kind word always helps. It is a gift anyone can give.
Fact: Find the ayah that says a kind word is better than charity followed by hurt (Al-Baqarah 2:263).
Ages 5–8: Kind word cards. Write kind words on cards to give out.
Ages 9–12: Gift of words. Write how kind words help people.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will give a kind word to someone every day."
Action: Give a kind word to someone every day.
