Ask: "Why do some people have more than others?"

Muslim Ummah posted a short recitation of ayah 71 of An-Nahl. Listen to all of it together.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who gave some people more?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How should people with more treat those with less?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 71. Allah gives some people more. People back then wouldn't share equally even with those working for them, yet they gave Allah 'partners'. The lesson: all provision is from Allah, so be thankful and generous.

Fact: Al-Baqarah 2:177 lists freeing people from slavery among good deeds. Read it with a grown-up.

Ages 5–8: Share. Share something you have more of with someone.

Ages 9–12: Provision. Write why those with more should be generous.

Finish with: "Al-Baqarah 2:177 lists ___ as good."

• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why be generous?
• What will you share?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will share something with someone who has less."
