Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Why should we thank the One who actually gave us food?"

Listen together as Muhammad Al-Luhaidan recites ayat 56–69 of An-Nahl, a short clip shared by Al-Quran Al-Karim.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will they be asked about?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is giving thanks to false things wrong?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 56. Some people offered part of their food to idols, thanking them instead of Allah, the real Provider. They will be asked about this. We thank Allah alone.

Fact: Open the mushaf to Al-An'am 6:136 about giving shares to false gods.

Ages 5–8: Bismillah. Say bismillah and alhamdulillah at every meal today.

Ages 9–12: Real Provider. Write why we thank Allah for food.

Finish with: "Al-An'am 6:136 says ___."

Talk together:

• How will you thank Him?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will say alhamdulillah after every meal."
