أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَٰرِهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْغَٰفِلُونَ
'Ūlā'ika -lladhīna ṭabaʻa -llahu ʻalā qulūbihim' wassam'ʻihim' wa'ab'ṣārihim' . wa'ūlā'ika humu l-ghāfilūna
Those are they whose hearts, ears, and eyes Allah has sealed up, and they take no heed.

They are the ones whose hearts, hearing and sight Allah has sealed, and they are the heedless.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens if you keep ignoring good advice?"
Put on Maher Al-Muaiqly's An-Nahl from ahmad3392 and follow along for a little while.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What has been sealed?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I keep my heart soft?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 108. When people keep refusing the truth, their hearts become closed. We keep our hearts soft by listening, remembering Allah and saying sorry quickly.
Fact: Track down Ar-Ra'd 13:28: hearts find rest in remembering Allah.
Ages 5–8: Soft heart. Say dhikr for one minute.
Ages 9–12: Soft hearts. Write three ways to keep a heart soft.
Finish with: "Ar-Ra'd 13:28 says ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one minute of dhikr daily."
Action: Do one minute of dhikr daily.
