وَٱعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ

Worship your Lord until the certainty, death, comes to you.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "When does worship stop?"
For a few quiet minutes, listen to Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary reciting Al-Hijr, shared by | Qur'an-Recitation.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Until when do we worship?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why keep worshipping all our lives?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hijr is surah 15. Find ayah 99. Al-yaqin, the certainty, means death. Worship isn't for a short time; it's for our whole life. Al-Hijr ends with this beautiful command.
Fact: List the stories told in Surah Al-Hijr.
Ages 5–8: Al-Hijr review. Draw your favourite part of Surah Al-Hijr.
Ages 9–12: Lifelong worship. Write how to keep worshipping every day of your life.
