أَتَىٰٓ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ ۚ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
'atā 'am'ru -llahi falā tas'taʻ'jilūhu . sub'ḥānahu wataʻālā ʻammā yush'rikūna
(Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him!

Allah's command is on its way, so do not try to rush it; He is glorified and far above the partners people give Him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do people sometimes want things to happen right now?"
Play the short An-Nahl clip of ayah 1 from Muslim Ummah.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah tell people not to do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is it better to wait for Allah's timing?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nahl is surah 16. Find ayah 1. An-Nahl means 'The Bee'. The surah begins with a serious reminder: Allah's command will surely come, so don't mock it or rush it. Then it is filled with Allah's gifts, from rain to honey.
Fact: Honey bees visit millions of flowers to make one jar of honey. A sign to ponder as you begin Surah An-Nahl.
Ages 5–8: Bee hunt. Look for bees on flowers (from a safe distance!).
Ages 9–12: Gifts list. As you read An-Nahl, keep a list of every gift of Allah it names.
Finish with: "The surah is named after the ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will start a list of Allah's gifts in An-Nahl."
Action: Start a list of Allah's gifts in An-Nahl.
