قَالَ لَا تَثْرِيبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ ۖ يَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
Qāla lā tath'rība ʻalay'kumu l-yaw'ma . yagh'firu -llahu lakum' . wahuwa 'ar'ḥamu rrāḥimīna
He said: "This day let no reproach be (cast) on you: Allah will forgive you, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy!

Yusuf said there would be no blame on them that day, may Allah forgive them, for He is the Most Merciful of all who show mercy.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is the most amazing thing about forgiving someone?"
Play the short clip from truthflash of Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 88–98 of Yusuf.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Yusuf say to his brothers?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How could Yusuf forgive so completely?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yusuf is surah 12. Find ayah 92. After the well, the selling, the prison and the years apart, Yusuf said: no blame on you today. He forgave completely and asked Allah to forgive them. This is one of the greatest examples of forgiveness.
Fact: Learn 'la tathriba 'alaykumul yawm': no blame on you today.
Ages 5–8: Forgive. Think of someone you can forgive and tell them 'it's okay'.
Ages 9–12: Full forgiveness. Write why Yusuf's forgiveness is so powerful.
Finish with: "La tathriba 'alaykumul yawm means ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will forgive someone and not bring it up again."
Action: Forgive someone and not bring it up again.
