ٱذْهَبُوا۟ بِقَمِيصِى هَٰذَا فَأَلْقُوهُ عَلَىٰ وَجْهِ أَبِى يَأْتِ بَصِيرًۭا وَأْتُونِى بِأَهْلِكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Idh'habū biqamīṣī hādhā fa'al'qūhu ʻalā waj'hi 'abī ya''ti baṣīran wa''tūnī bi'ah'likum' 'aj'maʻīna
"Go with this my shirt, and cast it over the face of my father: he will come to see (clearly). Then come ye (here) to me together with all your family."

Yusuf told them to take his shirt and place it over his father's face so he would see again, and to bring their whole family to him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What gift would you send to a parent you hadn't seen in years?"
Listen together as Nasser Al-Qatami recites ayat 88–100 of Yusuf, a short clip shared by Quran For Humanity.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What would the shirt do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is this shirt different from the first one?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Yusuf is surah 12. Find ayah 93. The first shirt (12:18) brought a lie and sadness. This shirt brought healing and joy. Yusuf also invited the whole family to come.
Fact: List the three shirts in Surah Yusuf (12:18, 12:25–28, 12:93) and what each one showed.
Ages 5–8: Shirt story. Draw three shirts and write what each one meant.
Ages 9–12: From sad to joyful. Write how the shirts tell the story.
Finish with: "The first shirt showed ___, the third shirt brought ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will invite a relative over or call them."
Action: Invite a relative over or call them.
